Superwoman Amanda Owens, (aka The Yorkshire Shepherdess), of ITV’s The Dales Programme and author of two books returns to speak at our November lunch . Last year when she spoke for our supporters the event was a complete sell out and unfortunately we had to disappoint many other people who hoped to come. 42 year old Amanda is a shepherdess with over 1000 sheep on a remote farm in the Dales where she lives with her husband Clive and nine children. Amanda is most definitely a speaker not to be missed! Tickets £25 which includes 2 course (early Christmas) lunch as plus the opportunity to indulge in a little retail therapy prior to being seated to enjoy great company, fabulous food and a sensational speaker. Please see link below for more details on this amazing lady as reported in the Guardian online.
